- Help build a life-saving medical device from development into compliant production.
This is a hands-on technician role, not a production operator position. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to assemble, wire, solder, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in a highly regulated environment. Working alongside a senior Electrical Manufacturing Technician currently onsite, this role offers real responsibility within a small, high-impact team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform precision wiring, cable harnessing, crimping and fine soldering of electrical assemblies
- Assist with PCB assembly and electrical integration of control systems
- Conduct in-process electrical and functional testing using in-house test equipment
- Troubleshoot assembly and electrical issues and support root cause investigations
- Support prototype builds, design verification, and validation activities alongside engineers
- Set up and maintain assembly and test equipment, including basic calibration and preventive maintenance
- Complete accurate production documentation, including device history records (DHR) in compliance with GMP/FDA standards
- Mentor junior operators and maintain compliance within a cleanroom, regulated manufacturing environment
- 4-7 years’ experience in electrical assembly, wire harnessing, or electromechanical manufacturing
- Strong experience with wiring, cable harnessing, soldering small-gauge wires, and PCB work
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and detailed technical documentation
- Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices or aerospace preferred
- Comfortable working independently with a quality-first mindset
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
