In your role, you'll be focused on…

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Payroll platform. As an Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer, you will lead initiatives to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure and systems, driving continuous improvement and innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise our technology stack, minimise downtime, and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available and scalable infrastructure and services.
  • Optimise our usage of AWS Technologies to align with industry security best practices.
  • Develop and implement best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and management processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to proactively address scalability challenges and optimise resource utilisation.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure that applications are designed for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on users.
