This role
As a Payroll Associate, you’ll be working with the Payroll Services team under the direction of the Senior Manager, Payroll Services and will be instrumental in shaping the impact as we grow in the Canadian market.
Your key focus areas will be
- Full cycle payroll processing for a variety of clients
- Building lasting client relationships
- Work as a team to create efficiencies and improve processes
- Being the SME when it comes to all things payroll compliance
This will include
- Independently respond to client tickets
- Independently run client payroll
- Manage client portfolio
- Have clear understanding of concepts introduced during focused learning sessions
- Able to navigate through various platforms and softwares
Who you are
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring
- 1+ years of payroll experience
- Bilingual (French & English) preferred
- Must be PCP certified (or in the process of obtaining PCP)
- Must have processed 500+ employees
- Self-starter who has the ability to juggle and support multiple clients and meet tight deadlines
- Tech savvy and ability to pick up new platforms and software quickly
- Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset and team mindset
- Self starter with a resourceful attitude when problem solving and dealing with ambiguity
- Analytical and strategic thinker who looks for opportunities and spearheads innovation that will drive better process improvements
- Experience working in a fast pace startup is an asset
