🌿 About Eucalyptus (The Company)

Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian founded digital healthcare company that is on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges.

Founded in Australia in 2019, we have now helped over 500K patients globally by combining technology, design and operational excellence to help patients access the best clinical support when they need it - wherever they are. We’ve raised over AUD$150M in funding from Australian and US investors who were early backers of Uber, Canva and AirBnb. With plans to launch into several more markets, offline channels, and tackle new conditions.

Our 4 brands (Juniper, Pilot, Kin & Software) are powered by a growing team across 5 countries - Australia, UK, Germany, the Philippines and now, 🇯🇵 Japan!

🇯🇵 Our plans in Japan - About Juniper (The Brand)

Our mission through Juniper is to empower patients to take control of their weight journey. We believe in a medical approach to weight loss that is judgment-free, inclusive, and truly effective.

That’s why we connect patients with Japanese doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and registered dietitians who can guide and support them every step of the way. We don’t just prescribe medications. Through a combination of clinically proven medication, personalized lifestyle interventions, ongoing care, and a supportive community, we help patients achieve sustainable and successful weight loss outcomes.

About The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate professional to join our team as an Online Special Health Guidance Coach (Registered Dietitian). In this role, you will support patients in improving their health and lifestyle through personalized guidance delivered online, with a focus on ongoing communication and care.

  • Online Special Health Guidance (特定保健指導): Provide personalized health and lifestyle improvement guidance to patients through online platforms. Develop tailored plans based on each individual’s health status and needs.
  • Follow-Up Support: Conduct follow-ups via phone and messaging to track patient progress after the initial session. Offer continued encouragement, advice, and support to help patients stay on track.
  • Patient Communication: Maintain regular and empathetic communication with patients to address their questions, concerns, and ongoing needs, ensuring a positive care experience.
  • Medical Record Management: Accurately document patient health status and guidance details in medical records to ensure proper care continuity and compliance.
  • Data Management & Evaluation: Track and manage records of guidance sessions and patient outcomes. Evaluate progress and update guidance plans as necessary to optimize results.

About you (Who are we looking for)

Skills And Experience

  • Must be a licensed registered dietitian in Japan
  • Experience in Special Health Guidance is required (preference given to those who have completed Phase 4)
  • Native-level Japanese; business-level English is a plus
  • Strong interest in health management and lifestyle improvement, with excellent communication skills to engage and support patients
  • Comfortable using digital tools and platforms (e.g., Zendesk, LINE, Facebook, Slack)
  • A strong team player, adaptable and collaborative in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working in a medical institution is preferred, in addition to qualifications

Behaviors & Attitudes

  • Relentlessly Ambitious: You’re energized by bold goals, rallying the team to pursue them, celebrating the wins, and then setting your sights even higher. You believe healthcare can—and should—be radically better and more accessible for millions around the world, and you’re excited to be part of that transformation.
  • Driven by Curiosity: You’re not satisfied with surface-level answers. When metrics are off track, you dig deep to uncover the root cause—whether it’s a one-off or a systemic issue that needs rethinking. When things are going well, you don’t just celebrate—you ask, “Can we scale this?” and look for ways to replicate success across the business.
  • Calm, Collected, and Resilient: You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment. You balance speed with quality, think in MVPs, and can juggle multiple projects end-to-end. Where others see chaos, you see opportunity—and bring clarity through actionable focus.
  • Committed to Growth (Yours and Others’): You’re a lifelong learner who embraces feedback and views every challenge as a chance to grow. You strive for excellence—not only in yourself but in the people around you—and you support your team to continuously raise the bar.
