We’re making good health last life a lifetime. More than 1 billion people globally live with obesity — a major leading indicator of many preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months…

  • Globally, grew revenue by >130% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree (early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe and AirBnb)
  • Grew to over 100,000 monthly active patients globally across our weight management program
  • Grew from 4,000 to ~40,000 patients in the UK, and received selective NICE endorsement to provide service to the NHS
  • Tailored our offering to over 5,000 patients in Germany and Japan, with a goal to extend our patient base to over 30,000 patients across both markets in 2025

What’s next?

Our goal for the next 3 years is to be supporting 1 million patients globally - to live better for longer - by launching into new conditions, demographics and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventative healthcare ecosystem.

We’re going to build the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. This will be really hard to do, but very rewarding and possibly, the adventure of a lifetime with some of the best operators you will ever work with.If that gets you excited, let’s talk.

About the Role (What you’ll be doing)

As a Senior People Partner, you’ll shape culture, enable leaders, and drive people strategies that fuel growth and high performance across APAC. You’ll partner closely with business leaders to make thoughtful, data-driven people decisions that balance business priorities with care. This role reports directly to Kerri Allen, Head of People.

You'll partner across two core areas:

1. Strategic Partnership:

  • Coach for Impact: Partner with leaders to understand their goals, challenge assumptions, and influence stronger, more deliberate decisions. Support them to lead with clarity, confidence, and consistency.
  • Build Leadership Capability: Equip leaders to have the right conversations, especially when expectations aren’t being met. Drive accountability and shape approaches to performance, reward, and recognition that are fair, consistent, and aligned to business goals.
  • Resolve Complex Issues: Provide expert, context-aware guidance on nuanced people matters, including underperformance, complaints, employee disputes, and visa requirements, across multiple markets.
  • Think Two Steps Ahead: Anticipate business shifts, identify risks and opportunities early, and shape workforce strategy and planning accordingly.

2. People Engagement and Experience

  • Own the Engagement Narrative: Be accountable for the engagement and experience of our APAC office — ensuring our people feel connected to the company’s mission and values. Shape the rhythm of engagement activities (such as surveys, cycle openers, and cultural initiatives) to foster belonging, alignment, and energy.
  • Empower the Team: Lead and coach your team (1-2 direct reports in AU) to deliver seamless engagement initiatives, while maintaining responsibility for the overall strategy, impact, and tone of how engagement shows up across the business.
  • Deliver at Scale: Own or support the delivery of key people programs, including performance and remuneration cycles, engagement initiatives, audits, and other critical touch points – ensuring they land with consistency and impact.

About you (Who you are)

  • 5+ years in a strategic HR Manager or People Business Partner role within a high-performance environment (e.g. tech, high-growth startup, or consulting)
  • Strong understanding of AU employment law and HR compliance (bonus points for familiarity with Japanese legislation)
  • Experience managing direct reports and supporting people leaders across functions
  • Proficient in tracking and interpreting people metrics to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including performance reviews, remuneration cycles, and audits
  • Commercially minded and strategic, you balance business priorities with empathy and sound judgement
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
