About Eucalyptus

‍At Eucalyptus (EUC), we’re on a mission to make good health last a lifetime. More than one billion people globally live with obesity a leading cause of preventable chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.

Through Juni, our flagship weight-management brand, we combine GLP-1 medication with personalized nutrition, exercise, and ongoing support from a multidisciplinary clinical team. Our approach makes patients 4.5× more likely to achieve meaningful weight loss and we’re just getting started.

Our goal: to support 1 million patients globally by 2028 and build Canada’s most impactful digital healthcare service.

About the Role

We’re looking for our very own ‘smooth operator’ to contribute to scaling and optimising our operations in Canada. Join us as we launch Eucalyptus’s most ambitious international expansion and build something from the ground up with massive growth potential, alongside a world-class team that’s already proven the model across multiple markets. This is your chance to own a key part of our next chapter and help millions of Canadian women access life-changing healthcare.

Operations can be messy and sometimes a quick-and-dirty solution is the right one. At other times, rigour is rewarded. Operations Associates are incredibly structured thinkers with relentless focus on understanding the ‘why’, forming testable hypotheses and using data to drive decisions. You synthesise tonnes of info; you build a clear vision; you document your work - in short, you turn chaos into clarity.

This role is remote and can be based in Ontario with regular in-person collaboration at our fulfilment centre in British Columbia and Ontario (around 2-4 times per month). So being based in or near Ontario is ideal.

What You’ll Do

In operations we continually think about three things: cost, quality, and scale…

Do our patients have the highest quality interactions every single day? Do we maintain our high safety standards as we grow? Are there ways to increase our efficiency and reduce costs while not compromising on quality or safety?

Your work as Operations Associate will be a mixture of BAU and project based work to improve the above the area as we scale. You’ll dive deep on a problem, using data to truly understand it, weigh potential solutions and then execute. You’ll build solutions that are ‘good enough’, then iterate.

  • Supply Planning: Develop and continuously optimize supply plans to safeguard Eucalyptus’s inventory position and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Stock Ordering & Coordination: Oversee end-to-end stock ordering cycles and collaborate with cross-functional partners — including manufacturers, wholesalers, and warehouses — to guarantee timely and compliant delivery of medicines to patients in Canada.
  • Capacity & Risk Management: Proactively monitor supply and demand capacity, identifying potential risks such as stockouts or shortages. Escalate critical issues promptly and recommend corrective actions to minimize operational and patient impact.
  • Payment Management: Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and payment processes to ensure on-time settlements and operational integrity.
  • Support the launch of new treatments, brands, and product lines, ensuring our fulfilment and supply chain operations are ready to scale quickly and maintain high-quality service.
  • Design and implement an improved inventory management system to ensure accurate stock levels, reduce waste, and streamline fulfilment across our pharmacy network.
  • Partner with Tech and Product teams to roll out new systems that enhance visibility, automation, and control across the supply chain and fulfilment lifecycle.
  • Identify and lead cost improvement projects, using data to uncover inefficiencies in logistics, shipping, and supplier management while maintaining compliance and quality.

About You

  • 3+ years in consulting, technology, venture capital and / or start-up space (particularly in an operational role, and bonus for prior experience working with / for B2C consumer brands)
  • A degree with a strong quantitative or analytical component - such as business, finance, computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • A skilled problem solver: Robust analytical capabilities & attention to detail, with the ability to synthesise findings, draw out insights and execute on recommendations.
  • Manage many things at once: Strong ability to prioritise, take initiative to manage a project end to end and communicate what’s important to key stakeholders.
  • Executional powerhouse: Strategy is simple, achieving it through flawless execution is what’s hard. Maintaining momentum will require good judgment and acting quickly within a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic towards patients: You take steps to dig deep into the patient experience, understand where service standards may be lacking, and drive improvements forward.
  • Team player: We’re a fast-growing team and there will be blurred lines between roles. We will all need to pitch in to get the job done. This includes being ready to help others, motivating the team and prioritising what will move the needle, regardless of task or team.
  • Strong generalist toolkit: Exceptional written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can be applied across organisational levels, countries and cultures. Comfortable with numbers and synthesising data into clear insights and opportunities.
