About the Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an experienced Marketing Business Development Representative who will be responsible for helping drive Flippa’s demand generation and outbound lead acquisition through marketing partnerships.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with two or more years experience in demand generation and driving qualified leads from outbound efforts to join the team and work for a fast growing marketplace business.

In this role you will work closely with the marketing team to identify high-value partnerships to expand Flippa’s brand presence and generate leads.

This position will report into the Director of Content Marketing and is based at our Melbourne HQ, located in the fun and vibrant Cremorne and comes with a range of fantastic perks & benefits!

As the Marketing Business Development Representative you will get to:

  • Outbound marketing lead generation and tracking
  • Partnership strategy and outreach
  • Negotiation and relationship management

This is a fast paced and varied role in which you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing partnerships with brands and influencers that align with the company's goals and target audience to ultimately drive leads.
  • Developing an outreach strategy to initiate and nurture relationships with potential partners.
  • Collaborating with partners to develop co-marketing and content strategies that work for each partner, including podcasts, videos, articles, and events.
  • Managing the execution of partnerships, ensuring clear expectations, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Ensuring all partnerships are structured to drive measurable lead generation.
  • Analyzing campaign performance and reporting on performance.
  • Working closely with sales and product teams to ensure high-quality lead generation and partnership opportunities are maximised across the Flippa platform.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ideally, at least 2+ years business development experience with proven experience in lead generation.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience creating structured outbound efforts that drive qualified leads.
  • Experience or a level of comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, dealing with global clients.
  • Proven experience juggling multiple projects effectively.
  • Previous experience in marketplace environments, fast growth tech businesses and / or digital real estate will be considered an advantage.
  • Direct knowledge of the small business digital ecosystem will be advantageous.
