The Opportunity
We are looking for a 4-7+ PQE Senior Lawyer/Practice Leader to join our Employment practice. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be working across a broad range of employment law matters to help clients anticipate, manage and resolve legal issues. Our team services businesses of all sizes, from small and medium-sized businesses and startups to large enterprises. We focus on providing efficient, cost-effective and quality advice through our innovative subscription model.
The successful candidate will demonstrate technical capability in employment law, effective project management and client service skills, and a genuine interest in contributing to LegalVision’s growth.

As a Senior Lawyer/Practice Leader, you will also be responsible for supervising a growing team of talented corporate lawyers. As such, you will demonstrate a genuine interest in training and mentoring junior lawyers and supporting their growth in the firm.
Things you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing junior and graduate lawyers in their day to day work.
- Providing written and verbal advice on the full range of employment law matters, including in relation to modern awards and enterprise agreements.
- Reviewing, drafting and updating employment documents such as contracts of employment, deeds of release and policies.
- Supporting clients and advising on recruitment, onboarding, application of their internal policies and employee terminations.
- Managing employment litigation matters and other larger projects and briefing counsel where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced: At least 4-7+ years of employment law experience in a reputable law firm or employment focused in-house position.
- Attentive: Brilliant attention to detail - nothing ever slips through the cracks.
- Efficient: Prioritises effectively, focuses on what matters and works productively.
- Commercial: Demonstrates business acumen and cares about business growth (including helping to grow LegalVision further).
- Collaborative: Gets a kick out of working with smart, fun and passionate people and learning from them.
- Adaptable: Grasps new concepts quickly, improves every day and goes with the flow.
- Service Orientated: Loves assisting clients and providing an amazing experience.
- Optimistic: Sees the best in situations, is solutions-focused and never gives up.
The Perks
- Fast-paced environment with accelerated growth opportunities for high performers.
- Talented and energetic teammates across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
- Earn additional ‘LV Leave’ days, plus paid birthday leave, volunteering leave, and parental leave.
- Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
- Regular team socials, drinks and team lunches.
- Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills super close to Central Station, and flexible work-from-home options.
