To support our ambitious growth plans and champion our Legal Solutions Consultants to do their best work, we're looking for a highly motivated Small and Medium Enterprise Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role based in our Surry Hills office.

The Opportunity

As LegalVision's SME Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for managing our Legal Solutions Consultants (BDMs) selling to our core segment of micro and SME businesses with up to 20 employees. Your team converts sales qualified meetings generated through our marketing efforts and SDR team into LegalVision members, while maintaining our industry leading client experience.

You will work with the Australian CRO to optimise your team's performance through day-to-day coaching focused on improving conversion rates, driving referrals, increasing the average Total Contract Value (TCV) and lead satisfaction (NPS). Your primary focus will be driving performance improvements through hands-on coaching and development of your team.

Key Responsibilities

Team Development and Coaching - Provide regular coaching, training and performance management for Legal Solutions Consultants to maximise effectiveness. Run new starter induction and ongoing team training sessions, and maintain structured coaching and performance review processes.

Deal Escalation - Actively join sales meetings to support deal progression. Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-value opportunities, and run your own meetings to lead by example and manage capacity peaks.

KPI Management - Monitor key team and individual conversion metrics to identity trends, performance gaps and opportunities. Ensure your leading indicators are tracking in line with the team’s monthly target.

Cross-functional Collaboration - Liaise with the SDR team, Marketing, Legal and Client Success to ensure our sales approach for micro and SME businesses aligns with delivery capabilities and retention goals. Provide feedback on lead quality and conversion challenges to ensure our marketing and sales efforts are being best directed.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience - You have a minimum of 3 years B2B sales management experience with a focus on coaching and developing BDMs/AEs. You have solid experience managing conversion-focused sales teams, ideally in small business or SME markets with short sales cycles. Legal sales experience is not required, but professional services sales experience is highly regarded.

Results-Driven Leader - You're a hands-on manager who leads by example. You'll jump into client meetings when needed, provide real-time coaching during calls, and consistently drive your team to exceed targets..

Recruitment and Coaching Excellence - You're passionate about finding and developing sales talent and have a proven track record of improving team conversion metrics through effective coaching. You know how to diagnose performance gaps and implement targeted coaching strategies that deliver measurable results.

Performance Management - You excel at managing individual and team performances. You can identify underperformers and systematically coach them to success while maintaining high team morale.
