About the Role
As the Payroll and Awards Specialist Lead based in Adelaide/ Sydney , you will support our team of Payroll and Awards Specialists, playing a key role in implementing and configuring the Lumary payroll and awards product, while leading the continuous development of supporting processes to improve service delivery. You will work in collaboration and partnership with other services teams, product and customers to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Lead the requirements analysis, configuration and testing of Payroll and Awards components of customer implementations in conjunction with consulting, engineering, product and project management teams.
- Lead customer-facing engagements discussing Lumary Payroll and Awards capabilities.
- Develop a channel to share feedback and positively contribute to and influence the WFM roadmap along with product teams.
- Provide general expertise in Payroll and Awards processes and best practices.
- Oversee Payroll and Awards implementations in accordance with methodologies that provide quality and deliver on business outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Payroll and Awards Specialists, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Lead the Payroll & Awards function and related processes to deliver successful outcomes for customers, working collaboratively with internal delivery and leadership teams and external customer delivery and leadership teams.
- Work with the project management team to accurately track and manage project risks, issues, key decisions, project interdependencies.
- Work as a collaborative leader within the Services team, fostering strong relationships with consultants, product managers, product teams and commercial teams.
About You
- 5+ years experience in roles directly configuring and/or building Payroll and Awards systems or providing system administration oversight.
- Prior experience configuring and/or administering Payroll and Awards systems.
- Some experience in a consulting or external stakeholder management is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams on methodology adoption, career development and fostering a positive working environment.
- Exposure across Agile, Waterfall and Adaptive delivery models and mindsets including knowledge of different program management frameworks/principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven track record of providing quality insights that help drive decisions ensuring teams are operating effectively and delivering consistent results.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and resolving complex delivery risks and issues with external stakeholders/customers and internal teams.
- Experience delivering a wide range of initiatives such as process redesign, productivity tools, and organisational change.
- Experience working within the Healthcare industry, Salesforce and or HRS systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding Payroll and Awards requirements, processes, pain points, and legislative and industry contexts.
