Our Customer Operations team turn every interaction between a customer and Phocas into a positive one.

The Customer Information and Systems Analyst will be the team's systems and data guru focusing on coordinating and maximising the benefits of customer reporting systems and operational activities to optimize our efforts and drive measurable results - which will ultimately contribute to Phocas’s revenue growth and customer satisfaction! Up to the mission?

Here’s how you’ll do it:

  • Dive into various customer systems like Hubspot, JIRA, and Phocas to gather data and conduct comprehensive analysis.
  • Utilise statistical and computational methods to extract valuable insights from data, optimising understanding and pinpointing potential opportunities
  • Visualise data creatively using a range of tools to craft easy-to-grasp diagrams and graphs
  • Create and prepare ad-hoc reports for various stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Keep an eye on data quality, overseeing reconciliation and cleansing activities
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports for different business functions within the Customer Team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and suggest improvements
  • Work within the Customer Operations Team to set up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient
  • Foster alignment and synergy across various departments (finance, marketing, and customer success) to enhance collaboration
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business information

What you’ll need to succeed:

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, the ability to embrace and adopt technical systems; project management, time management and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience of working with JIRA
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Comfortable and experienced working within different systems and databases
  • Adaptable with able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Proven experience in Data Analyst or Data Scientist role ideally within a SAAS environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights, data-driven with the ability to extract and analyze data using different CRM, database and analytics tools.
  • A continuous improvement and automation mindset to help bring value to customers quickly
