What will I be doing?

As part of the platform team, you’ll help support the operation, availability, performance and scaling of the infrastructure which underpins the Phocas applications. Your success will directly impact the quality of the delivered Phocas applications and the ability for the applications to scale, and to ensure our ongoing awesomeness.

  • Implement tools and systems to support the Phocas platform
  • Solve complex and escalated cases from Support Analysts
  • Work closely with internal teams on deployment, support and upgrades
  • Maintain, create and improve infrastructure knowledge base
  • Devise and architect solutions
  • Automate repetitive workflows and use IaC tools to improve infrastructure reliability and repeatability
  • Incident response coordination and communication

Your background includes:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
  • Solid experience with and understanding of .NET & SQL
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms & Services (e.g. AWS)
  • Administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., IIS, SQL Server)
  • Experience with Scripting ( e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go )
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code ( e.g. Terraform, Ansible, AWS SSM )
