Events Equipment Coordinator – Casual, Part Time Hours
Brisbane | On the road | $30–$35/hr + travel allowance | ~10–15 hrs/week | Weekdays
A driving job that pays well and fits around your life - whatever your life looks like right now
AmazingCo creates real-world experiences across Australia: kids' birthday parties, team building events, wine tours, and more. In Brisbane, behind every magical party and every great team day, there's an Events Team Leader making sure our hosts have everything they need, when they need it. That's the job.
We're looking for someone to join our Hosted Events team, delivering party and event equipment directly to our hosts across Brisbane & Gold Coast, then collecting it again once it's done. Casual role, part time hours - roughly 10-15 hours a week, done on weekdays. Within that, you have real say over how your week looks.
You'll get to know our team of hosts as you go - the same friendly faces popping up week to week - so even though you're mostly out on your own, you're genuinely part of the team, not just dropping off boxes.
What you'll actually be doing
This is a simple job to learn and a satisfying one to be good at: get the right equipment to the right host at the right time, and keep it all organised in between.
- Drive around Brisbane and the Gold Coast delivering equipment and costumes directly to our hosts ahead of their events, then collecting it afterwards
- Build a good working relationship with our hosts - you'll see a lot of the same people
- Plan your own week - you decide when the driving happens, as long as weekday deliveries are covered
- Keep the warehouse (in Enoggera) clean, organised, and ready to go
- Check gear over for damage and flag anything that needs fixing or replacing
- Keep our system updated so the team always knows where everything is
You don't need experience - you need a car and a bit of initiative!
We can teach you the job in a day. What we can't teach is being reliable and switched on, so that's what we're after.
That might look like:
- You're a uni student who wants real flexibility, not just the promise of it
- You're a parent looking for work that fits around school hours
- You've done retail, hospitality, or warehouse work and know how to keep things moving
- You just like driving, listening to your own music, and being your own boss for the day
- You're naturally tidy and notice when something's out of place
What we're looking for
- A reliable car and current driver's licence - both are essential, no exceptions
- Available to do drops on weekdays - this is when deliveries happen
- Comfortable working independently, without someone checking in on you
- Organised enough to keep track of what's going where and when
- A Working With Children Check (or willingness to get one)
- Some flexibility during school holidays and end of year, when things get busier
Want more?
There's a path for that Once you know your way around the gear, you'll have the option to host Kids Parties or Team Building events yourself - better pay, more hours, and a fun way to mix things up if you want it. Totally optional, genuinely encouraged.
Why AmazingCo
- You decide how your weekday hours are structured
- $30-$35/hr plus a travel allowance
- A clear, easy path into hosting if you ever want more hours or more pay
- A supportive team who'll actually teach you the ropes, and a great crew of hosts to get to know
- Staff discounts across our experience range
