Wine Tour Driver - Casual | Hunter Valley, NSW | $33/hr or $264 for a 9:45am - 4:30pm day + 1 hour for car collection | Flexible days

AmazingCo creates and delivers real-world experiences across Australia and around the world - wine tours, mystery picnics, corporate team days, kids' parties, date nights. Our mission is to help people live more fulfilling lives, and every tour we run is someone's day off, celebration or bucket-list moment.

We're looking for casual Wine Tour Drivers to join our Hunter Valley team. The days are flexible and no two are the same, but you'll need to be available on Saturdays, and pick-ups are usually from Hunter Valley or Newcastle, so it's a great fit if you're local to either.

What you'll actually be doing

Customers book us because they want a fun, easy day out - not just a lift between cellar doors. You're the person who makes that happen.

• Drive small groups (2 to 11 people) around the Hunter Valley on a pre-set itinerary, so you'll always know where you're headed
• Act as a friendly, patient guide as much as a driver - keeping the day relaxed and fun
• Help the group make the most of their stops, whether that's their first ever wine tour or their tenth
• Use a vehicle we provide, or your own if it's suitable (we pay extra for this)

You don't need to be a wine expert - or even know the region

Genuinely. Most of our customers aren't after a sommelier - they just want someone friendly and reliable to get them from stop to stop and make the day easy. No prior knowledge of wine or the Hunter Valley is required. It's a nice bonus if you've got it, but we'll never expect it, and you'll pick plenty up on the job anyway.

Beyond that, we care less about your CV and more about whether you genuinely enjoy people. That might look like:

• A background in hospitality, tourism, or events where you were the one guests actually remembered
• Time in customer service or retail where being warm and patient under pressure was just part of the day
• Experience driving passengers, groups or clients, whether that's chauffeuring, courier work, or a similar role
• A love of driving and being out and about, rather than stuck behind a desk

What we're looking for

• A friendly, fun and patient personality - genuinely
• Solid customer service experience
• A Passenger Transport Licence Code (PTLC)
• Availability on Saturdays, plus flexibility across weekdays
• Your own suitable car is an advantage, but not essential
• No wine or regional knowledge needed - happy to teach you as you go
