Business Development Manager
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager, ready to introduce our technology to restaurants throughout the city. Our ideal candidate has a good understanding of outbound sales, a keen interest in both tech and food, and is excited to be part of a young, diverse and vibrant team.
EatClub is a fast-growing tech company with global ambitions. Founded by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, and backed by industry leading venture capital firms, EatClub is in aggressive expansion mode.
At EatClub we have an important mission - to make restaurants more profitable through dynamic pricing; much like has already happened in the hotel & airline industries.
Over the 3 years since launch, we have helped millions of hungry customers visit top venues, resulting in tens of millions of dollars towards the bottom line of thousands of EatClub partner venues.
Our industry is in the midst of a digital revolution and EatClub has developed a cutting-edge suite of new products that will help our partners thrive in the digital age - including our new state of the art Artificial Intelligence software.
Through recent lockdowns, we’ve helped venues quadruple their revenue in times when they needed it most. After a recent funding round, we’re looking to expand quickly and take the dynamic pricing revolution Australia-wide, then global.
We’re currently operating in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and NYC. We’ve just launched on the Gold Coast, with the Sunshine Coast and Perth next on the menu. There’s plenty of expansion to come, and with it opportunities for those on the journey with us.
At EatClub, we’re a tight-knit group but it’s more than a love of food that keeps us that way. We are young, entrepreneurial people who love coming to work and crave success.
We have big dreams for the business that we all work towards every day. Of course, with those big dreams comes high standards, and this ideal has been the key to our success and growth over the past three years.
The Business Development Manager is fully responsible for the acquisition of new partners within the state, in our existing areas and in new launch areas. The role works with a team of other Business Development Managers across the state and country and works closely together with our Partner Operations team, who look after existing accounts. The BDM reports directly to the Head of Sales.
You’re a go-getter. You love winning and do not shy away from a challenge. You are no stranger to the numbers game that sales can be and have been successful in previous roles. You are excited to work in a high-growth tech business and keen to add to this growth by introducing our tech to new partners. When you believe in a product and business, you’ll go the extra mile.
