Growth Lead, Acquisition & Activation

Join the Food Tech Revolution at EatClub!

About Us

EatClub is one of Australia’s fastest growing tech companies backed by iconic chef Marco Pierre White and trusted by thousands of restaurants across Australia and the UK.

Our mission is simple: Help restaurants fill empty tables. Help diners discover last-minute dining deals. Help the hospitality industry thrive.

The Opportunity

EatClub is reshaping how cities dine, helping restaurants monetise underutilised capacity through dynamic, time-bound offers. With thousands of venues, over 2M customers, and rapid expansion across Australia and the UK, the business is entering its next phase of scale.

This role owns the awareness → first booking growth loop. You are accountable for how EatClub generates demand, converts intent into action, and scales new transacting customers city by city. Your decisions directly impact CAC, payback, and the pace at which the marketplace grows.

You will lead Acquisition across paid, organic, offline, and emerging channels, working closely with Product, Data, and City teams to pull the highest-leverage growth levers.

This is not a channel or campaign role. It is end-to-end ownership of a critical growth engine, with real authority to test, learn, and scale what works.

This role offers high autonomy, material budget ownership, and a seat at the table shaping how EatClub grows across markets. If you want to own a core growth loop in a category-defining marketplace and see your decisions compound at scale, this is a rare and career-defining role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Awareness → First Booking Growth Loop, being accountable for driving new transacting customers, CAC and payback targets, and conversion from first touch through to first booking
  • Define and scale how EatClub acquires demand across paid, organic, offline, and emerging channels, reallocating spend by city and performance.
  • Lead paid acquisition outcomes and performance agency partners, setting direction, standards, and accountability to results.
  • Partner closely with Product, Data, and Lifecycle teams to improve activation and early user experience.
  • Run a high-tempo experimentation program across messaging, creative, audiences, channels, and activation mechanics.
  • Turn learnings into clear decisions and scalable acquisition playbooks.
  • Own acquisition measurement, forecasting, and reporting, and build the acquisition pod over time.

What You Bring

  • 6-8+ years experience in growth, acquisition, or performance marketing
  • Experienced owning acquisition in a consumer tech or marketplace business
  • Strong commercial instincts and comfort being accountable for outcomes
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Data teams
  • Experience managing people, agencies, or both
  • Deep understanding of funnels, conversion, CAC, and experimentation
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Maintain a strong bias for speed, focus, and impact over perfection

Maybe This Role Is Not For You If

  • You prefer channel execution ownership over end-to-end growth loop ownership
  • You need tightly defined processes and perfect information before starting
  • You are uncomfortable being accountable for commercial outcomes
  • You prefer optimisation over experimentation and discovery
  • You are not excited by fast-moving startup environments
  • You prefer working alone rather than as part of a team
  • You get easily overwhelmed working on a number of projects simultaneously and pivoting fast
