A Day-in-a-Life of our Business Development Manager

You’ll be out in the field, meeting restaurant owners and operators face-to-face, building trust and delivering solutions. Each day is fast-paced and varied: some days you’ll be prospecting new venues, other days negotiating commercial agreements or onboarding new partners or all of that on the same day.

You’ll own the full sales process, from first contact to early wins, and collaborate with internal teams to support long-term venue performance. Your decisions, energy, and follow-through will directly shape EatClub’s growth in your territory.

On Any Given Week, You Will Be

  • Visit and build relationships with multiple restaurants, face-to-face
  • Prospect new venues through cold calls, walk-ins, and scheduled meetings
  • Pitch EatClub’s offerings clearly, confidently, and persuasively
  • Negotiate agreements and close deals efficiently
  • Onboard new venues and ensure early adoption success
  • Manage a high-volume, fast-moving sales pipeline
  • Partner with internal teams to support venue performance and retention

Type of projects you’ll be working on at EatClub…

  • Own and grow a defined territory, developing strategies to hit targets consistently
  • Build and maintain relationships that lead to repeatable, scalable sales
  • Experiment with outreach methods and pitches to optimise conversion
  • Identify barriers to adoption and work cross-functionally to remove them
  • Support new market launches, including domestic and international expansion

You’ll have full ownership of your territory and pipeline, with support from internal teams and leadership.

You have….

  • Strong ambition to build a long-term career in sales
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, target-driven environments
  • Discipline with time, activity, and pipeline management
  • Resilience and confidence hearing “no”
  • Willingness to be in the field full-time, including flexible hours tied to restaurant service times
  • Belief that effort should directly correlate to outcomes and income

It would be extra awesome if you also had…

  • Prior sales experience
  • Or transferable skills from high-performance roles (professional sports, hospitality, client-facing roles)
  • Existing relationships with restaurants or operators in your territory
  • Experience in tech-enabled or B2B sales environments

  • Curious and proactive, asking questions to understand the customer and the business
  • Confident in communicating one-on-one and in small groups
  • Coachable, able to learn fast, adapt quickly, and apply feedback immediately
  • Motivated to grow with a scale-up business
