The Role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager - APAC to join the etrainu team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading inbound and outbound sales strategies across the APAC region, with a focus on targeted accounts in the corporate and healthcare industries to generate new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth. You will achieve this by leveraging deep domain expertise in corporate training needs and healthcare compliance, gained over 10+ years in high-performing sales environments, to interact with prospective customers, uncover their business challenges, and identify relevant new business opportunities in line with etrainu’s sales process and qualification criteria.
You will contribute to our business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and energetic atmosphere, overseeing a team of sales development representatives and aligning strategies with global objectives. Measures of success include Sales Qualified Leads delivered vs. target, annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth, and overall contribution to the sales team. The target markets will be APAC, with a strong emphasis on corporate entities and healthcare providers, under the direction of our CEO.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities, with a specialised focus on corporate workforce development and healthcare training needs.
- Validate Marketing leads/prospects into Sales Leads for the Sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate and healthcare SaaS requirements.
- Work closely with Sales Management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business, incorporating insights from corporate sectors and healthcare settings.
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity, drawing on experience with corporate enterprises and healthcare providers.
- Working with etrainu leadership and sales management, disseminate opportunities to appropriate Account Executives, educating reps as necessary about the opportunity, including corporate and healthcare SaaS applications.
- Lead outbound prospecting into various organisations via cold calling, email, and other marketing campaigns, targeting corporate entities and healthcare organisations.
- Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities through discovery sessions informed by advanced knowledge in corporate training and healthcare compliance.
- Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with prospects, leveraging a background in healthcare-related research and extensive sales expertise.
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
- Manage prospect interaction in Hubspot to ensure efficient lead management, while implementing CRM tools, workflows, and data strategies for team optimisation.
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure Qualified Opportunities and revenue objectives, with proven ability to drive ARR growth and renewals.
- Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimisation, including redefining customer journeys and partnership success models across corporate and healthcare sectors.
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of etrainu’s platform, industry trends, and competition, with expertise in corporate and healthcare SaaS integration.
- Oversee regional sales team, including coaching on processes, running quarterly business reviews, and inputting into product roadmaps for corporate and healthcare applications.
- Support go-to-market campaigns, marketing efforts, and key engagements, including speaking at conferences and managing partnerships with corporate leaders and healthcare executives.
- Drive land-and-expand models, scaling processes for efficient workflows, and tracking key business insights for executive reporting.
Experience We Are Looking For
- Advanced understanding of SaaS-based sales in the sports, corporate and healthcare sectors, with demonstrated success over 10+ years in selling to sports, corporate clients or healthcare providers.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with high levels of tenacity and resilience developed and honed in competitive sales environments.
- Able to demonstrate strong outcomes in previous roles such as meeting and exceeding Sales KPIs (e.g., Sales Accepted Leads (SALs), ARR growth, renewal rates, and early contract renewals) over a decade-long career.
- Strong understanding of Marketing, Sales, Creative, and SaaS-based technology, with extensive experience in corporate training solutions and healthcare compliance tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment, while leading regional teams and consulting on global partnerships, with a proven track record spanning 10+ years.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with education and experience applicable to sports, corporate or healthcare sectors..
- Proven track record in managing key partnerships with sports, corporate enterprises and healthcare providers, with strategic decision-making and data-driven sales strategies over 10+ years.
