The Role
We are currently looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join the etrainu Sales team. Reporting to the Sales Manager - Australia, you will be responsible for strategically driving revenue through the acquisition of new SME logos.
Responsibilities
- Strategically drive revenue through the acquisition of SME logos ensuring that quarterly and annual revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Engage with senior managers across client accounts and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges and objectives, to determine alignment with etrainu’s core offering.
- Plan and execute strategic / tactical outreach within etrainu’s ideal customer profile and your target accounts.
- Manage an entire sales cycle drawing on the support you need from within the organisation. Including tasks such as discovery calls, presentations, product demonstrations and contract negotiations.
- Track and record metrics throughout the sales process in our CRM, Hubspot.
- Clearly communicate outreach and opportunity progress weekly/monthly/quarterly to key business stakeholders.
- Develop deep product expertise, messaging, positioning and an understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Partner cross-functionally to provide feedback from the market and prospects.
- Build and manage successful relationships with internal teams (e.g. Customer Success, Marketing).
- Speaking engagements at conferences and industry events.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales with experience closing SME accounts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing full sales cycles including discovery, demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and technology-driven solutions for business challenges.
- Ability to actively listen, understand customer needs, and present compelling solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Understanding of the online learning and SaaS product landscape.
