We eliminate the need for homeowners to self-manage their Airbnbs and we support local property management experts to work alongside us and handle everything on the ground. Our easy-to-use technology provides the infrastructure that the short-term rental market has always needed and it exists to deliver better results and transparency for everyone. We currently operate throughout Australia and our team is growing fast as we consistently add new markets.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for the first interactions with potential Hometime customers. Working with our local property managers you will help to achieve company sales targets by generating new business, qualifying warm inbound leads, handling any preliminary questions, and setting the right expectations to ensure an excellent customer experience from the first touch point. In addition, you will also be responsible for achieving your own individual sales targets and will be rewarded with uncapped commissions.

We are looking for someone based in Sydney as you will be required to work out of our Sydney office and attend property appraisals across Eastern Suburbs, Inner Sydney or Inner West and surrounding areas.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to:

  • Generate 60% of new business through in-market connections and relationship-building
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads in your allocated markets resulting from marketing activities
  • Build rapport and identify needs: You are the face of the business and will often be the first to respond to inbound leads
  • Manage and nurture the lead pipeline using Hometime’s CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Attend to leads via phone, email and video to convert them into customers
  • Nurture current clients & build strong relationships for potential future business
  • Provide earnings estimates (ROI) and appraisals for prospective clients
  • Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects
  • Identify new sales opportunities by reaching out to local professionals (e.g. real estate agents and buyers agents) to create a mutually beneficial relationship
  • Monitor the client onboarding journey to ensure a smooth and streamlined process is occurring and no major milestones will be missed
  • Collaborate with our teams around APAC, learn a lot about the operational aspects of the business and convey this information to potential clients


Preferred Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • Minimum 12 months of relevant real estate, phone sales or similar experience;
  • Relevant real estate qualifications;
  • Strong organisational, pipeline management and influencing skills;
  • Genuine curiosity and an ability to ask effective questions and understand customer needs;
  • Experience in a high growth, fast paced company is a plus.
  • Based in Eastern Suburbs, Inner Sydney or Inner West is a plus.
