About Particular Audience
Leading retailers maximize “profit-per-pixel” with Particular Audience, through a single composite KPI—net profit per session—combining higher basket AOV, ad yield, conversion and reduced markdown leakage.
Particular Audience is an AI-native retail media and personalization company founded in 2017 by CEO James Taylor. The platform (DiscoveryOS) tackles the 'endless aisle' challenge by creating a unique storefront for every shopper—matching each visitor with the products they’re most likely to buy, at the moment they’re most likely to buy them.
Using multimodal machine-learning (behavior + vision + language) and sentence-transformer search, Particular Audience powers hyper-personalised search results, product recommendations, rich media and fully automated sponsored-product placements that outperform keyword-based systems by at least 4×. Retailers such as Target, The Good Guys and Hotel Chocolat use Particular Audience to boost conversion, increase ad revenue and lift shopper satisfaction without compromising user experience.
With regional headquarters in London, Sydney and Vancouver, Particular Audience supports global enterprise retailers while advancing open-source standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that enable agentic commerce. The mission is simple: show every shopper exactly what they want—before they know they want it—while driving profitable growth for the merchants who serve them.
AI/ML that powers all customer interactions. If you see it, search it, click it, and buy it – that's PA.
There is only one retail media platform in the world that competes (and wins) in organic site search and personalisation, as well as in onsite retail media technology—this is the standard.
