THE ROLE

As our Lead Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our retail store. You will oversee all aspects of our workshop operations, including managing a team of skilled mechanics, ensuring efficient repairs and maintenance of e-bikes, e-mopeds, and cargo bikes, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mechanics to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Workshop Operations: Oversee all repair and maintenance operations, including diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of electric vehicles (e-bikes, e-mopeds, and cargo bikes).
  • Customer Service: Interact directly with customers, providing clear and concise information about repair status, costs, and timelines.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and maintain efficient workshop processes and procedures to optimise productivity and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Manage workshop inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective operations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Utilise advanced office and fleet management systems to generate accurate reports and analyse workshop performance.
